Commissioning of the first 20 SmartElectre units for RTE Lingostière

Following 4 months’ factory acceptance at SCLE’s Toulouse premises, the first 20 Digital Command Control cabinets have been delivered to the RTE transformer station at Lingostière, in Nice !

RTE Electricity Transport Network has entrusted SCLE with the digitization of this strategic substation in SmartElectre with our range of ARKENS protection and automation relays.

Key figures:

• 3 voltage levels 225 / 150 / 63 kV
• 48 digital slices
• 3-year deployment
• Substation area: 30,000m²

This key substation, located along the Var Valley, supplies industrial and commercial facilities in the area as well as the entire west of the Nice urban area with electricity. In 2020, it was backed up with the addition of a second 225/150 kV transformer.

The project includes a further 2 years’ work to complete the digitization of the 48 sections of the substation. To be continued …
