SCLE continues partnership with RTE and regional adult education institutes
SCLE has been a partner of the French BTS in Energy training course created by RTE Sud-Ouest and GRETA Occitanie since 2021.
Since its creation in 2021, SCLE has been a partner on the BTS (equivalent of the BTEC Higher National Diploma) vocational training course in Energy, created by RTE Sud-Ouest and GRETA Occitanie.
The principal aim of the course is to encourage an interest in Energy with young graduates, both in terms the strategic and environmental issues associated with the subject, and the variety of technical skills required to work in this field.
As part of this partnership, eight SCLE colleagues have been taking part in classes at the Lycée Déodat de Séverac in Toulouse where they teach our expertise in 4 modules:
➡ Digital control
➡ Design, production and installation of low voltage branches
➡ Impact of renewable energies on network protection and stability
➡ Safety at the construction site
The course also provides a great opportunity to share our experience and vision of the profession, and – who knows – to inspire a vocation in Energy amongst the students! Indeed, a dozen young people have already signed an apprenticeship contract with us!
On December 5, our SCLE colleagues and their students experienced the surprise official visit of Carole Grandjean, Delegate Minister in charge of Vocational Education and Training, and the Rector of the Toulouse Academy Mr. Mostafa Fourar during Vocational High School Week!
