‘TCO Digital’ optical control panel tested in Chalon-sur-Saône and Châtenoy
Following on from the tests conducted in Nimes, Chalon-sur-Saône and Châtenoy are now implementing our TCO Digital optical control panel as part of SNCF Réseau’s testing contract, run in by their fast-track department.
In October, the SCLE Digital Innovation team deployed our route control and track occupancy solution on these two rear bases, in collaboration with our partner Vossloh Cogifer.
The system includes :
27 connected axle counters
14 connected switch point controllers
2 electronic position detectors
6 connected original indicator panels (TIPs): luminous connected displays positioned on the trackside, indicating the track taken
2 TIP Watches: connected watches for field operators, displaying the track taken
1 TCO Digital system for the two sites: web application displaying digitized track plans.
The TCO Digital trials at Chalon-sur-Saône and Châtenoy ran until the end of December, bringing to a close a year of intense testing, which presented multiple technical challenges.
Congratulations to all the teams involved, and good luck in the home stretch!
We look forward to some new adventures in 2024!
TCO Digital is an innovative system developed and tested by the Rail Open Lab in association with SNCF Réseau and our partner Vossloh Cogifer.
